Joining cinematic legends like Harry Potter, Batman, Wonder Woman, Mary Poppins and Paddington, the new statue celebrates almost 25 years since Bridget first hit our screens - a fitting tribute to the relatable, hilarious heroine who redefined what it means to be perfectly imperfect.
Bridget has been making Londoners laugh, cry and feel since 2001. With family, action, adventure and horror all currently featured in the trail, it was about time we added a rom-com icon to the line-up... making Bridget the first rom-com character to join Scenes in the Square.
The free-to-visit sculpture trail celebrates some of film’s most beloved characters, bringing cinematic moments to life right in the heart of Leicester Square.
