For four years, the interactive statue trail Scenes in the Square has brought to life some of the nation's most-loved characters.
Visitors to the square have been able to re-live their favourite movie scenes, snap selfies with beloved characters, and enjoy a free audio tour voiced by TV presenter and film fanatic Alex Zane.
Launching in 2020, eight iconic characters were unveiled, including Wonder Woman, Batman, Mary Poppins, Gene Kelly from 'Singin' in the Rain,' Laurel & Hardy, Mr. Bean, Paddington, and Bugs Bunny.
Harry Potter, the world's most famous young wizard, joined the Scenes in the Square trail in September 2020.
In 2021, the Iron Throne was unveiled by Isaac Hempstead Wright who played Bran Stark in the gripping TV series Game of Thrones.
Later that year, Clifford the Big Red Dog joined the trail, coinciding with the 2021 UK film release. Clifford became the first canine to join the trail and was unveiled by actor-comedian Jack Whitehall who played Uncle Casey in the film.
Joining the trail in 2023, everyone's favourite adventurer archaeologist - Indiana Jones was unveiled at the UK Premiere of Disney and Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, attended by Hollywood legend Harrison Ford.
