Voted by British film fans as the actor they most wanted to see, Kaluuya’s inclusion is a huge win for homegrown talent.

Get Out scored four Academy Award® nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Kaluuya. With a modest budget, it shocked audiences by grossing over $250 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing debut film based on an original script in Hollywood history.

Kaluuya debuted on screens in the 2000s, making appearances in popular British TV shows such as ‘Skins,’ ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Black Mirror.’ However, the release of ‘Get Out’ in 2017 propelled his name to global heights, leading into roles in the likes of ‘Black Panther’ and an Oscar®-winning turn in ‘Judas and the Black Messiah’.

London-born Daniel Kaluuya began his career as a writer on ‘Skins,’ and most recently made his directorial and feature film writing debut with ‘The Kitchen’, which he also produced. The film closed the prestigious 67th BFI London Film Festival in 2023.

Now, Kaluuya stands alongside legends like Harry Potter, Wonder Woman, and Batman in Leicester Square. His journey from Skins and Black Mirror to global stardom is nothing short of inspiring.
