Bridgerton Premieres in Leicester Square

Last night London was abuzz as part two of Bridgerton’s third season premiered in Leicester Square.

The star-studded event featured the beloved cast who were out in full force on the red carpet.

Star of the season, Lady Whistledown herself Nicola Coughlan stunned in a dusty pink draped dress with a hint of sparkle alongside Luke Newton who plays her long-time friend and love interest Colin Bridgerton.

Accompanied by the rest of the Bridgerton family cast - Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, Hannah Dodd, Ruth Gemmell, Florence Hunt, Will Tilston and the newest Bridgerton family member Simone Ashley. Looking incredibly regal on the red carpet was Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte) and Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury) and her brother in the show, played by Daniel Francis.

The Fetherington family - Harriet Cains, Bessie Carter, Representing The Cowper family were actresses Joanna Bobin and Jessica Madsen alongside key love interests in Season 3 played by Sam Phillips,, Victor Alli, and Hannah New.

From Shondaland and new showrunner Jess Brownell, Bridgerton returns with Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) taking centre stage. After overhearing Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) speak disparagingly about her last season, Penelope has given up on her long-held crush. She now seeks a husband who will allow her the independence she needs to continue her secret life as Lady Whistledown, away from her overbearing family. However, her lack of confidence leads to failures in the marriage market.

Meanwhile, Colin returns from his summer travels with a newfound swagger, only to be disheartened by Penelope's cold shoulder. Determined to regain her friendship, Colin offers to mentor her in confidence to help her secure a husband this season. As Penelope's confidence grows, Colin must confront his true feelings for her. Adding to Penelope's challenges is her strained friendship with Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who has found a new and unlikely companion, complicating Penelope's efforts to keep her Lady Whistledown identity a secret.

Bridgerton Season 3 is now streaming on Netflix from 13 June.
