Bridget Jones is Coming to Leicester Square

This November, London’s West End will welcome everyone’s favourite, hopelessly romantic heroine to the free film trail celebrating over a century of cinema magic.

You’ll soon be able to see Bridget in statue form, standing proudly alongside iconic characters like Harry Potter, Batman, Wonder Woman, Mary Poppins and more. This is the first time a romantic comedy heroine has joined the trail.

As finishing touches are added to her signature Tiffany heart necklace and “D for Darcy” pendant, the statue captures Bridget in all her perfectly imperfect charm. The statue represents the version of Bridget brought to life by two-time Academy Award® winner Renée Zellweger, whose portrayal has made the character beloved worldwide.

Picture yourself wandering through Leicester Square, spotting Bridget among London’s film legends, and perhaps taking a selfie with one of the city’s newest cinematic icons. After almost 25 years of making audiences laugh, cry and feel seen, Bridget is finally stepping into her rightful place in London’s film history.
