Disney's Wish Premieres in London’s Leicester Square

Filmmakers, stars and special guests dazzled on the blue carpet for the official UK premiere of ‘Wish’ from Disney Animation Studios.

Last night's premiere at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square was attended by 'Wish' film Producers Juan Pablo Reyes and Peter Del Vecho, writer Jennifer Lee, Co-Directors Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn and Ariana DeBose who voices the quick-witted and optimistic Asha in the Disney original animation.

Disney's all-new animated musical-comedy, 'Wish,' takes audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas. There, Asha, a vivacious teen, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a force from the cosmos—a little ball of energy called Star.

Asha and Star team up to face the formidable King Magnifico, the ruler of Rosas. Together, they aim to save and protect her community and prove that when you are brave incredible things can happen.

Starring the Academy Award-winning Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha's favourite goat, Valentino, this movie is directed by the talented duo Chris Buck known and loved for directing Frozen and Frozen 2 and Fawn Veerasunthorn head of story on Raya and the Last Dragon.

‘Wish’ not only charms audiences with its captivating storyline but also features a magical soundtrack. With original songs, by Grammy-nominated Julia Michaels and Grammy-winning producer, songwriter and musician Benjamin Rice with a mesmerising score composed by Dave Metzger.
