Known for his Oscar-winning performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once, Quan is ready to bring his talent to an action-packed film.
In ‘Love Hurts’, Quan plays Marvin Gable, a charming realtor in the Milwaukee suburbs with a secret past. Everything changes when he receives a mysterious red envelope from Rose (Ariana DeBose), a former partner-in-crime he thought he had left behind. This unexpected message pulls him back into a dangerous world filled with ruthless hitmen, all under the control of his crime lord brother, Knuckles (Daniel Wu). Marvin must confront his past as he navigates this perilous underworld.
The film boasts a fantastic supporting cast, including former NFL star Marshawn Lynch, Mustafa Shakir, Rhys Darby, and Sean Astin. It's directed by Jonathan Eusebio, a veteran stunt coordinator making his feature film directorial debut, known for his work on John Wick and The Fall Guy.
The screenplay is crafted by Matthew Murray, Josh Stoddard, and Luke Passmore, with production by Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, and Guy Danella. Ben Ormand serves as executive producer.
Love Hurts will premiere exclusively in theaters on 7 February 2025.
