Mark your calendars - Leicester Square and St Martin’s Lane are set for a magical makeover.
With sparkling lights turning the area into a festive wonderland, all in the spirit of spreading some much-needed festive joy and cheer among Londoners.
Leicester Square Gardens will be adorned with twinkling stars decorating the trees and the surrounding streets celebrating the countless film and entertainment personalities who have visited the area and capturing the glitz of the movie premieres held here.
This year we reminisce about the stars of films from 2023 including the Transformers cast - Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, and Tobe Nwigwe back in June, to rolling out the pink carpet in July for the iconic Barbie premiere with Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and Dua Lipa turning Leicester Square and London pink!
For the second year running, St Martin’s Lane will be illuminating the heart of London’s theatreland with theatre-themed Christmas lights, and the winter spirits return to Piccadilly.

Duel Purpose
Leicester square has been home to a number of historical figures. Statues of William Hogarth, Sir Joshua Reynolds, John Hunter and Sir Isaac Newton have all featured in the gardens, which at the centre, permanently showcases William Shakespeare.
