From Harry Potter soaring through the sky to Wonder Woman, this interactive trail celebrates the best-loved moments in film.

Visitors can pose with Paddington, sit next to Mr. Bean, dance in the rain with Gene Kelly, or share a laugh with Bugs Bunny and Laurel & Hardy.

The latest addition is Daniel Kaluuya, whose statue recreates the unforgettable "Sunken Place" scene from Get Out. Voted by 5,000 British film fans as the actor they most wanted to see in the Square, Kaluuya is the latest in a line-up of legends. His gripping performance in Get Out earned him an Oscar® nomination and launched a career that has since included Black Panther and Judas and the Black Messiah.

February 2020 saw the launch of the trail with a celebration of 100 years of cinema. The original collection featured Paddington, Mr. Bean, Batman, Wonder Woman, Gene Kelly, Bugs Bunny, Mary Poppins, and Laurel & Hardy. Later that year, a touch of magic arrived with the addition of Harry Potter.

The trail has also welcomed several temporary statues to mark iconic moments. In June 2021, the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones appeared to celebrate the show's 10-year anniversary. Just in time for Christmas 2021, Clifford the Big Red Dog brought festive cheer. Plus in 2023, Indiana Jones made a grand entrance with the trail’s first-ever Scenes in the Square premiere event, celebrating the release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

For an even more immersive experience, visitors can tune in to the audio walking tour narrated by TV’s Alex Zane. With behind-the-scenes insights and fun facts, it’s the perfect way to explore the trail.

Whether you’re a lifelong movie fan or just looking for a fun day out, Scenes in the Square is a must-visit. Come celebrate five years of movie magic in Leicester Square!
