It’s your chance to experience the Tusk Turtle Trail a vibrant public art installation featuring 16 life-sized turtle sculptures.

Each sculpture has been transformed by global icons from the worlds of art, music, television, photography, and design, bringing a splash of colour and conservation to the capital.

From Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood to Dragons’ Den stars Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett, from famed photographer Rankin to comedian and actor John Cleese and his wife Jen, a stellar lineup of artists and celebrities has brought these majestic marine creatures to life. Now you’re invited to follow their journey across London.

This is your chance to explore some of the city's most iconic locations in a whole new way. A free downloadable and printable map is available here, making it easy to follow the trail and discover each unique sculpture in locations like Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Carnaby Street, St James’s Market, and even The Shard.

Perfect for families, tourists, art lovers, and curious explorers, the trail offers a fun, interactive day out in the heart of the city. Each sculpture features a QR code, giving you the chance to learn more, donate to marine conservation, and even bid to own one of these one-of-a-kind artworks in the online auction. Every penny raised goes directly to support Tusk’s marine protection projects across Africa.

Curated by Chris Westbrook, and following the huge success of Tusk’s Rhino, Lion, and Gorilla Trails between 2018 and 2023, this year’s trail showcases the work of a showstopping creative line-up:

  • Adam Dant
