This sparkling new production brings the beloved Christmas story to life with over 100 dancers and musicians, stunning choreography, and beautiful sets and costumes by Dick Bird.

It’s Christmas Eve in Edwardian London, and young Clara is at Drosselmeyer’s Sweets & Delights Emporium, where she discovers an enchanted Nutcracker doll. After filling their baskets with liquorice allsorts, marzipan, and sugarplums, Clara’s evening takes a magical turn. She defends her home from the Rat King before venturing into a shimmering ice realm and meeting its Queen. Her journey continues to the Land of Sweets & Delights, where the Sugar Plum Fairy hosts a grand celebration in her honour.

Choreographed by Aaron S. Watkin and Arielle Smith, this new Nutcracker is a feast for the senses. Tchaikovsky’s iconic score is performed live by the English National Ballet Philharmonic, making this a perfect treat for all ages.

From the first note to the final bow, this is a Christmas experience not to be missed.
