Set in the late nineteenth century, Hare’s sweeping drama traces the glory days of the Lyceum Theatre, where Irving’s visionary showmanship and Terry’s brilliance made them household names. Behind the triumphs, however, is a tale of artistic obsession, personal sacrifice, and the unrelenting pressure of fame. For Irving, the art was everything, but for Terry it was just part of a full – and at times controversial – life.

Ralph Fiennes (Conclave, The English Patient) stars as Henry Irving, capturing both his grandeur and vulnerability, while Miranda Raison (Spooks, Patriots) embodies Terry with warmth, wit and emotional depth.
