What's OnThe Tusk Turtle Trail 2025

This summer, London’s West End is set to become home to an exciting outdoor art trail, all in support of ocean conservation.

  • Dates 01/07/2025 - 31/08/2025
  • Location West End, London, UK
  • Price FREE

Launching in July 2025, Tusk’s Turtle Trail will see 16 life-sized turtle sculptures popping up across the city, each one uniquely designed by a mix of celebrated artists and famous faces.

Expect striking, colourful designs and creative surprises around every corner.

Big names taking part include Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones, Dragons Den’s Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett, photographer Rankin, artist Harland Miller, and illustrator Ralph Steadman — to name just a few.

The trail is a collaboration between wildlife conservation charity Tusk, art curator Chris Westbrook, and partners including Art of London, Shaftesbury Capital, and The View from The Shard. You’ll be able to spot the turtles around London’s West End.

The trail aims to raise awareness of the threats facing marine turtles, which have been around for over 100 million years but are now seriously endangered. From plastic pollution to climate change, these ancient creatures need help and this trail is all about inspiring action.

Each sculpture will be up for grabs in an online auction, with a special live event taking place in October 2025. All proceeds will go toward Tusk’s Marine Conservation projects in Africa

Whether you’re an art lover, wildlife enthusiast, or just looking for something fun and free to do in London this summer, The Tusk Turtle Trail is one not to miss.
