Play Place is designed for families to dive into creative play right in the very heart of London.

Play Place is all about asking the question: how can we make cities more playful? Alongside being a fun spot to enjoy; Play Place is also a way to get people talking about how we can make cities better for kids.

HOLBA, in collaboration with Art of London and the London Festival of Architecture, bring this vibrant installation to Leicester Square which is set to inspire conversations about urban design.

Bring your family to Leicester Square Gardens this June and experience the joy of play in the heart of the city.

Play Place is created by Delve Architects and Plaey Workshop, with support from the Heart of London Business Alliance, Westminster City Council, and the London Festival of Architecture, and is sponsored by Dragon Smoke Construction.

This colourful playground is like a giant puzzle just waiting for little ones to explore.

Duel Purpose

The tube journey on the Piccadilly line between Leicester Square and Covent Garden is London’s shortest, travelling only 260 metres. It lasts only 45 seconds and at £29.81 per mile, is one of the worlds’ most expensive rail journeys – enough of an incentive to take the scenic route and walk.
