Hadestown focuses on the love stories of Orpheus and Eurydice and the Greek God of the Underworld, Hades and his wife, Persephone. Orpheus and Eurydice are two lovers who are steeped in poverty. For the sake of food and shelter, Eurydice signs away her life and becomes a worker in Hadestown, Hades' underground factory. Orpheus gets to know about this, comes to the Underworld, and vows to save Eurydice.
Orpheus begins to rally the other workers as well and inspires Persephone with his determination. At her insistence, Hades offers Orpheus a chance to win back Eurydice’s human life. Will he succeed? What other obstacles lie ahead? To find out, book your Hadestown tickets for London today!
